Item description : This is a porcelain lid rest called "Yagaku" (studying at night) with the traditional Shonzui designs. The shape comes from a stand to use for reading at the night and therefore, it is called "Yaguaku" finally. Teh designs are Japanese traditional designs called Shonzuin used often for plates, bowls and etc. Please add this stylish Futaoki to your collection. The potter is Shoami, who is a Kyoyaki potter and his name is written in the back of teh lid with his stamp.
