Item description : This is a Haisen bowl with a saucer with charming design of Ume darwn on the gold lacquer.
Please look at their brilliant design of flowers arranged so elegantly. A Haisen bowls is literally means to wash a Sake cup and in fact is used for washing a Sake cup at a party. After we are surved a Sake by somebody, we will serve another after wash the cups we used. It is one of our traditional
courtesy well known among people in Japan. Of course, you could use it for a salada bowl or other purpose as you like. As it is rare to see a Haisen bowl with a saucer in the market, it could be a nice item to add to your collection.
