Item description : This is a rare Tokoname yaki tea bowl made of their unique red clay with design of tasteful Japanese poem arranged all around the item made by Kozan who is a famous industrial and traditional craftman in Tokoname.Kozan. A Tokonama-yaki is one of famous kilns located in Aichi, Japan and has been famous with their red clay. A red clay tea bowl is rare to see in the market but it surely matches a matcha tea. The more it is used, the more stylish it becomes. Please add it to your collection of Japanese tea bowls if you do not have any of this style. His name is written on the box and the cloth enclosed and stamped in the bottom of the item.
