Item description : This is a Shigaraki-yaki Jikiro made by Mr Rakunyu Yoshimura(1959-) who is a modern potter living in Kyoto. A Jikiro is a container for sweets used for a tea ceremony. It is made of lacquered wood with Makie works in many cases but pottery made looks also tasteful. Please add it to your collection. The potter's name is written on the back of the lid and in the bottom of the item as shown.
