Item description : Kuro-raku tea bowl titled "Kamiya-kuro" named after the name of a marchant Mr Sotan Kamiya who made this tea bowl for Hideyoshi Toyotomi who was a general in 1500's), an Utsushi of Kamiyaguro tea bowl originally made by Chojiro, the founder of Raku family(?−1589) This tea bowl has been kept by Rikyu as one his favorite items.It is currently maintained in the Shizukado-bunko museum in Tokyo.
