Name of potter : Hikosaburo Kiln of Kamachi-yaki. A Kamachi-yaki is a local kiln in Fukoka and originated back in end of 1500's (Azuchi-Momoyama period). It belonged to the Yanagawa feudal clan and made items for Hideyoshi and the Tokugawa shogunate in past time.
