This is a foldable screen especially for used for a tea ceremony in a summer time, called Furosaki Byobu. It is of a reed with a cherry tree as a pillar. A shelf is provided for putting a tea caddy on. It is made assumably in 1980's or before but in excellent conditions for age. There is a stain seen on the board of the shelf as shown. It must be rare to see a Furosaki Byobu made of a reed like this but it surely makes us feel cool and fresh. It could be suitable item for a tea ceremony held in a summer time. Regarding the freight, some countries (including USA) would not be able to accept SAL (standard mail delivery) but only EXPRESS due to its size dimension.
