Item description : This is a pair of Hagiyaki Myoto Chawan made by Totakian kiln, Rokuroemon Tsuchiya who is 12th successor of Susakaratsuyaki kiln in Hagi city. A Susakaratsu-yaki was ogiginated in Karatsu, Karatsu yaki area and brought into Hagi back in 1600's. Therefore, it could be called a fusion of Karastu yaki and Hagi yaki. Please enjoy a dual taste of Hagi and Karatsu with these cups.
