This is a stylish tea shelf called a" Sugi-Dana" desinged by Gengensai, 11st successor of Urasenke tea master (1810-1877). It is in mint condition made presumably in 1990's. There are some scars seen on the couple of places but as a whole it is in good condition. Please look at the stylish appearance and the beautifu grain of the natural cedar. It surely makes you have a wonderful tea ceremony. Please add this nice tea shelf to your collection of tea tools for a tea ceremony.
