This is a Buddhist statue, Amitabha Tathagata who is a Buddha of the light and shines on all over the world. It is made presumably in 1970's or before. It is made of wood with fantastic gold leaf. Please look at the fantastic carving with beautiful gold leaf that are made into detail. It is a vintage but in perfect condition with woderful appearance. Please add this sublime statue to your collection of Japanese Buddhist art. It was found in the same place as #8501 and #8521.
