This is a fantastic Japanese poems taken from the colleciton of Izumi Shikubu's ( who was a poet in Heian period, late 700' ) poets and Sanjurokkasen's (36 poets chosen by Fujiwara Kinto who was also a famous poet in Heian period). All poets were written by a modern profeesional calligrapher so nicely and elegantly. As you see, it has 2 front pages and both side have different poems. The one side is for Izumi Shikibi's poets and another is for Sanjurokkasen's, so we can enjoy 2 different collections of Japanese traditional poets at one time. It was written within these 2 decades and it is still in perfect condition. It is very rare to see such beautiful hand written calligraphy even in Japan nowadays. It is no doubt that it becomes one of your woderful collection of Japanese arts. This is re-introduced item.
