This is a tasteful Oribe style water basin with their unique motif. The Oribe was a originally designed by Furuta Oribe who was a disciple of Sen no Rikyu. He created a curved shape tea bowls first time which was strange and very impressive to people who enjoyed a tea ceremony at that time. It still creates profound beauty to us. It is a used item and has some stains as shown. But in perfect condition to use. It has the stamp of the kiln name on the bottom. Please add it to your collection.
