This is a tasteful Oribe style water basin with their unique motif. The Oribe was a originally designed by Furuta Oribe who was a disciple of Sen no Rikyu. He created a curved shape tea bowls first time which was strange and very impressive to people who enjoyed a tea ceremony at that time. It still creates profound beauty to us.
