Item description : This is a fascinated Urushi work Tsugaru-nuri jubako box with their unqiue design. A Tsugaru-nuri started production in Aomori prefecture since 1700's as one of promotion of their industory. This technique is their traditional and inudustrial art in their place taken over for a long years. Normally it is used an arbor vitae and apply a Urushi coating several times to the surface and grind gently after that to creat unqiue design. Please add this finest Urushi art to your collection.

Condition : Excellent. in mint There is a tiny hair cracks seen on the surafce of the Urushi paint in the corner of the table and one of 4 boxes but all are not outstanding at all and looks still beautiful. It is slightly shaky when to put the boxes on the table.
