Item description : This is a stylish Karatsuyaki water jug with tasteful Hakeme design (brush line) made by Rizaemon kiln. Rizaemon kiln has their origin back in mid of Edo period (1700's) and produced lots of prestigious tea items into the market. Please get this tasteful Water jug at this opportunity. The name of the kiln is written in the front of the box with their stamp. The lid with Urushi finishing is provided.
Age : Presumably 1980's
Condition : Good. Unfortunately, there is tiny chip on the egde of the top as shown but it can be enjoyed as Keshiki (scene) of the item. There is tiny spot of lacquer loss seen in the back of the lid.
