Item description : This is a wrtitten memo of Question and Answer on Ogyu Sorai(1666-1728) who was a scholar of Shishigaku, an ancient Japanese thoughts. He had served to Tokugawa 5th successor Tsunayoshi and given a great influence on society at that time. This is probably written in late Meiji to Taisho period (1890-1900) and exactly inherited handwritng accets. It must be a nice collectible item. Please add it to your collection of Japanese calligraphy. It is 184 papes in total.
Age : Presumably 1880 - 1900
Condition : Very good. There are worm eaten wholes and tiny sticky tapes seen on some pages.
