Item description : Rikyu Namida Chashaku (a tea scoop of tears) Utsushi(a replica). Rikyu has left 3 tea scoops made by himself behind him when he was ordered a ritual suicide, Harakiri. The Namida Chashaku was the one of them left for his first disciple Furuta Oribe, who designed a Oribe style tea wares in the history, and kept by Tokugawa Bakufu for a long time. They say that the Chashaku had been kept by Oribe in the scoop holder in black with the small window to pray. He kept this scoop as a keepsake until his death.
