Tea caddy ( Natsume or Chaire)
A Tea Caddy is one of basic tool for a tea ceremony.Tea caddy is neccessary for tea ceremony. There are 2 types of tea caddy. One is Natsume and another is Chaire. The Natsume is for thin tea powder and the Chaire is for thick tea. The Natsume is made of plastic, artificial wood or natural wood sometimes with lacquered pictures. The Chaire is made of potter with small bag ( Ko-Bukusa ). Some items are so beautiful and fashionable. It is presumed that they were used not only as a tea tool but their fashion item to show to their guets. We do not have enough items here due to time to prepare right now but we are planning expand our sales items. Please wait for a while with an expectation.
